COLLEGIATE
CHALLENGE:
This
year, Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity participated
in Habitat for Humanity International's Collegiate
Challenge and more than 11,500 students signed up
to participate at 235 Habitat locations across the
country. Through its 18-year history, Collegiate Challenge
has sent more than 139,000 students to build Habitat
houses. During this time, students have raised more
than $11 million in donations to the program. This
year alone, Collegiate Challenge students will contribute
$1.4 million to help build homes. In 2007, our affiliate
hosted 165 students during their week-long winter
or spring breaks. Our volunteers enjoy working with
the students because of the great enthusiasm and energy
they bring to the work site. This year we hosted students
from the following colleges:

of Misericordia
- Lincoln
Memorial
- North
